Cross Stitchy Finish

I once started this one for someone who was getting married... but then the wedding was off... So I've put it away somewhere.
I'm trying to clear away some of my unfinished projects and I came across this one. Took me a couple of weeks to finish, had a lot of frogging to do.  I think this project was cursed, or maybe I shouldn't stich when I'm tired...

Lizzie*Kate - A Good Marriage
32ct Lambswool linen (Wichelt Imports)
Crescent Colours
Sampler Threads
DMC

Thinking about my next project now... maybe some crochet untill the next installment of "The Pumpkin Passport", rather impatiently waiting for that one ;)

You can now also follow me on Facebook, every follow is greatly appreciated.

'till next time x

Progress

So I've finished this Birth Sampler, but the little baby boy is taking his time.  I think he was supposed to be born a couple of days ago so we're all waiting very (im)patiently.  Here is the sampler (minus the name that is)
This is a kit by DMC from the Lickle Ted series. No longer available in shops sadly.  I really loved these designs for new babies.

So since I've cought the stitching bug, I tackled a long time wip, have no idea how long I've been working on this one :) Might be finished in time for Christmas. Just need to do the backstitching now.
This was a Dimensions Gold Petites kit.  Not sure if it's still available in shops. So maybe next week, I'll have another finish for you all. And who knows, maybe even some crochet :).

Long overdue!

Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging, of crocheting,... it's been a while since I've been here.  I've been on a 2 week holiday in May, and didn't really feel like creating stuff.  But I had an order to fill so now I'm back on track :).

This one came on holiday with us, there was a little girl waiting for this cute little donkey :)

pattern can be found here
hook: 2,5mm
yarn: Phildar Coton 3

Always looking for new patterns. I was sold to this little "dude" straight away :) Reminded me of one of my favourite Disney movies, "Finding Nemo"

hook: 2,5mm
yarn: Phildar Coton 3

Another new baby at DH's work, this tough lion is moving to Turkey.  The pattern is called "Leeuw Lowie".  My son's name is also Lowie, I'm going to make this one for his bedroom as well :).
Pattern can be found here
hook: 2,5mm
yarn: Phildar Coton 3

And this is the one that made me pick up my hooks and yarn again :) Also for a new baby. This is my 3rd Otto Elephant, I think I like this color combo best.  Someone already asked me for another green Otto, I guess I will be busy in the next couple of weeks :).
