new start...

Gisterenavond eindelijk kunnen beginnen met Kater Theo, een patroon van Stip en Haak.  Mijn mama vroeg zich af wanneer ik eens een beestje voor haar ging maken, en ze is zot van katten... De keuze was snel gemaakt.  Wolletjes besteld vorige week vrijdag maar door omstandigheden heb ik ze pas gisteren in ontvangst kunnen nemen.  Ik was al lang van plan eens Scheepjes Stonewashed te proberen en zag in deze lieve kater de perfecte kandidaat.  Alle andere projectjes vlogen even aan de kant en voorlopig ziet Theo er zo uit:

Last night I started a cat named Theo, a pattern by Stip en Haak.  My mum was wondering when I would make an animal for her, and she loves cats. I've been lusting over "Scheepjes Stonewashed" and I thought this pattern would be perfect for the worn out look.  My other projects are tossed aside for a bit :).

Ondertussen heb ik alweer een nieuwe bestelling wolletjes geplaatst, want ik kreeg een nieuwe vraag om Otto de Olifant te maken, maar deze keer met blauwtinten.  Hopelijk geraakt mijn pakketje nu wel snel ter plaatse.

Had to order some new yarns for another Elephant, this time with blue instead of pink.

Er werd woensdag nog een nieuw dierenvriendje toegevoegd aan de beestenboel die zich nestelt op de hoge kast in de woonkamer.  Mijn kleine man wou dat mama een kikker maakte... hier is Felix:

I added a new friend to the animal farm.  My son wanted a frod.  Meet Felix:

Gehaakt met Catania katoen uit mijn voorraad, met naald 2,5.  Het patroon is een gratis patroontje van Lilleliis en is verkrijgbaar in 't Nederlands en Engels. Mijn kleine held was er meteen weg van.  Ik kreeg Felix maar met veel moeite nog voor mijn lens...
